I have been writing for many years about the dangers of AI Technology

Corporate fascism and the car was written in London in January 2017. It features Trump, Musk and Farage. I wrote ‘I was inspired to write this blog by a driverless car advocate who wrote on twitter that a robot might make a better Prime Minister.’

And in August 2017 Londoners: Beware the Driverless Trojan Horse

“Transparency is the great challenge. As these things exert more and more influence, we want to know how they work, what choices are being made and who is responsible. The irony is that, as the algorithms become more complex, the creators of them increasingly do not know what is going on inside the black box. How, then, can they improve transparency?”

In 2016/17 I was attending a lot of very disturbing meetings on Autronomous / Driverless cars or even flying cars. And on the potential for Artificial Intelligence to be embedded in Government systems. I started asking questions on the algorithmic transparency and accountability of these Artificial Intelligence systems. The response (and body language) was very revealing. They squirmed.

Artificial intelligence is the dangerous illusion of intelligence because it lulls us into trusting a very very flawed and dangerous technology. If we do not stop the adoption of AI in our Government systems, I guarantee we will be experiencing the Post Office scandal on steroids.

In 2017 Professor Erol Gelenbe of Imperial College has told Christian Wolmar and myself that ‘Automation of logic has not been possible, complexity boundaries were reached.’

In 2017 Professor Erol Gelenbe of Imperial College has told Christian Wolmar and myself that ‘Automation of logic has not been possible, complexity boundaries were reached.’

This means the tech is fundamentally flawed. It is algorithmically unaccountable and even the engineers can’t keep track of what is going on inside the black box. It is not fit for purpose.

AI can be used (at any time) by any political system to control and centralise power. To classify, evaluate, categorise and treat citizens in a dehumaniased way. It can be used for eugenics: In fact The US corporation IBM aided Hitler. In Edwin Black’s book, IBM and the Holocaust: The Strategic Alliance between Nazi Germany and America’s Most Powerful Corporation
‘Black outlined the key role of IBM’s technology in the Holocaust genocide committed by the German Nazi regime, by facilitating the regime’s generation and tabulation of punch cards for national census data, military logistics, ghetto statistics, train traffic management, and concentration camp capacity’

Moreover the environmental and health costs of AI are massive. Whether e-waste, air pollution and emissions, vast energy demand and water consumption. Mining and polluting water and soil. Land grab and resource wars. I will be covering this subject in detail with links to current research. I will try to bring these many strands together and hopefully start creating a useful resource on this subject. To inform citizens, whilst our mainstream media does not.

Resist AI and stop falling into the herd mentality!
